Funding for Greater Manchester’s Clean Air Zone opens soon

In May 2022, Greater Manchester’s Clean Air Zone (CAZ) will be implemented across the city- region to improve air quality now and for future generations.

From 30 November 2021, applications will be open for financial support to upgrade or retrofit non-compliant HGVs. Early application is encouraged to ensure applicants are well-placed to access the available funding.

It’s time to prepare for cleaner air:

  1. Visit cleanairgm.com/prepare where you can use the online checker to see how your vehicle(s) might be impacted and what support may be available.
  2. Sign-up for the Clean Air Newsletter at cleanairgm.com#newsletter to stay up to date with the latest advice, developments, and financial support
  3. Spread the word: It is important that every business knows about the Clean Air Zone, how they may by impacted and what support could be available. Please share this information with your friends, colleagues and networks

New online checker for Greater Manchester’s Clean Air Zone

Early application is encouraged to ensure applicants are well-placed to access the available funding.

A new online checker is now available on cleanairgm.com/prepare to enable vehicle owners to find out if their vehicle is affected by the Clean Air Zone and whether they are eligible for financial support. Sign-up for updates to stay up to date at cleanairgm.com
